If you haven’t read this post about my addiction that I never really mentioned, then let me just explain: I play World of Warcraft, I’ve been playing since 2005, and my family has played off and on since then. In the previous post, I talked about how I bought my way into the beta. It helped that I knew what game I’d be playing in a year. Would I do it again? Perhaps, depending on the rewards. We’ll see if they offer it again.
Anyway, so because Mists of Pandaria is literally around the corner (September 25th!), the pre-expansion patch is hitting this coming Tuesday, the 28th of August. Why is this exciting?
It isn’t. Not really. Everyone is going to be figuring out what talents they like best, how to play their classes that have been changed, glyphs, and why the hell Blizzard hasn’t released the Theramore event. Valor will also become Justice points, and we’re going to have the option to do an infinite amount of dailies, as well as account bound mounts, pets, and achievements. I like this last part the most simply because I’ll FINALLY GET MY HYACINTH MACAW ON MY SHAMAN. She collects mini-pets and my hunter, Kanshia, got it at level 25 a long time ago. The Hyacinth Macaw is one of the rarest pets in the game. And if I’m not careful I’m going to start squeeing. If they add Jensen Ackles into the mix somehow, I’d probably die from over-excitement.
Actually, no. Just Jensen Ackles in general.
This is basically a highlight of all the stuff that’s happening in the patch. And if anyone is confused about why we’re not getting the Theramore event at the beginning, it’s because you’re stupid and haven’t been keeping track of what’s going on (this is pointed at anyone who plays WoW and lacks half a brain. I realize that not everybody plays and doesn’t know what the hell I’m talking about so forgive me and just be patient. We will find more exciting stuff later on, like how I absolutely love The Big Year with Jack Black, Owen Wilson, and Steve Martin.) We’re not seeing the event UNTIL at most a few weeks before MoP comes out. I refer you to this post. This is aimed at the Tauren Warrior who keeps spreading lies across the forums.
I take issue with people not paying attention and acting like idiots. And not just WoW players. Most people in general. There will be a post on this at some point, because I like complaining about people. Really. This should be fun when someone decides I’m worth hiring and I have to deal with people on a day-to-day basis. Don’t get me wrong, I have my idiotic moments too, but some people… They just take it to the next frickin’ LEVEL. No pun intended.
